A few info before getting started

SmartRM is a Firefox addon that allows you to share your secrets (e.g. videos, songs, documents) with your friends or colleagues while keeping control of how it is used.

The SmartRM software allows you to import your contacts from your preferred social networks or of whom you know the email address.

Your secret will be protected and the people you have enabled to use your content will be only able to do so according to the permissions you have granted them.

To install SmartRM, you must have Firefox 3.5 or later and a properly working Java Virtual Machine (at least 1.6.12).

If the requirements above are satisfied, you are just a click far away from entering the SmartRM world: please click "Install" in the popup at the top of the page. Then Firefox will ask you to restart the browser; this may take several minutes depending on your machine while SmartRM will configure itself... be patient, you won't regret it.

Note: For Mac and Linux users at the moment you will only be allowed to create content for Windows-based SmartRM clients.
